My son was two years and two months old and still didn’t say a word.

We had a growing hole in the family budget. I decided to take upon myself to listen to the Shalom Link telephone shiur every day and to publicize the yeshuah when it comes. Less than a week later (!), two work offers fell into my lap, which fit in easily with my daily schedule and earn me a higher salary than before!
The zechus of shemiras halashon came to our aid, and yeshuas Hashem k’heref ayin!

One of my good friends from high school was still single. I decided to take upon myself the daily learning of hilchos shemiras halashon for two months, for her zechus. I’ll be honest: It wasn’t easy.
Yet, the friend had gotten engaged!!!

For a long time, we searched for a rental apartment to fit our needs. One of my daughters suggested, “Ima, maybe we should donate to Mishmeres Hashalom?” I immediately called to donate.
The happy ending came sooner than expected. That very evening, we got a call about an apartment in the area we liked. The next day, we baruch Hashem signed a lease for two years and we’re very satisfied.

I decided to accept upon myself to call the number every day and learn the halachos.
Four days later, the long-awaited phone call arrived: I was called in for an interview for a job that suited me perfectly and that had potential for professional advancement. Within a week, I’d gotten a positive answer.
I have no doubt that it was the merit of shemiras halashon that had come to my aid.

After six and a half years had elapsed, we decided to take on three efforts in shemiras halashon: My husband and I started learning the daily halachos together; I called Mishmeres Hashalom and became a building rep, to be mezakeh harabim; and we also set up a standing order for a monthly donation towards Mishmeres Hashalom’s work.
Baruch Hashem, we were blessed with a baby boy!
